
The coordinator of the Legislative Group of Movimiento Ciudadano, Miguel Ángel Flores, emphasized that it is essential to present a complete and accurate budget for the well-being of Nuevo León and its citizens. Flores expressed his confidence that all ongoing works will be successfully completed and highlighted the importance of all projects reaching a good end.
With the deadline approaching for the presentation of the 2025 Budget, Heriberto Treviño Cantú, coordinator of the Legislative Group of the PRI, urged the state executive to comply with this constitutional mandate. Cantú called for a fair and equitable Fiscal Package to be presented before November 20, highlighting the PRI's willingness to meet again with the governor and the state treasurer in search of a consensus.
The PRI deputy emphasized the importance of the 2025 budget including allocations aimed at improving transportation, security, and health for the citizens of Nuevo León. He also expressed the need for the budget to be fair and equitable for all municipalities in the state.
On the other hand, the coordinator of Acción Nacional, Carlos de la Fuente, expressed his hope that the governor would send the Fiscal Package before November 20. De la Fuente noted that, if presented complete, Congress could approve it by December 20, and he reminded that last year the budget was sent incomplete.
The Secretary General of Government, Javier Navarro, reaffirmed the state executive's position regarding the importance of dialogue and reconciliation among political actors and the powers of the State. Navarro called for setting aside pride and personal and partisan differences, urging to work in unity for the well-being of Nuevo León.
The following week will be crucial for the Government of Nuevo León and the State Congress, as the deadline to deliver the 2025 Budget is November 20. After two years of Budget Reallocation due to not presenting the Complete Fiscal Package, it is expected that this time, with the willingness for dialogue expressed by Governor Samuel García, a new relationship can begin between the Executive and Legislative powers.
