A family originally from the community of Chautipan, in Chilpancingo, Guerrero, has been reported missing after heading to sell goods in a nearby town to the municipality of Chilapa, in Quechultenango. Initially, the group consisted of three men and three minors who left on Tuesday, October 22, towards El Epazote in Chilapa. The tenth missing person has not yet been identified.
Authorities have begun search efforts and have requested the community to provide any relevant information that may help locate the missing individuals. Both the Attorney General's Office of the State of Guerrero and the State Commission for the Search of Persons have treated the disappearance cases as separate events. The Alba Protocol has been activated to locate the mothers of the missing minors, Flor Itulia Cabrera Sánchez and Clara Francisco Cabrera, who were with Héctor Santos de la Cruz when they disappeared.
Relatives in Chautipan lost communication with them, causing concern and a mobilization to search for them. Four days later, two women, mothers of the missing minors, and another man departed from Chautipan towards El Epazote in an attempt to locate their relatives, but they are also missing.
The members of the missing family are Alfonso Francisco Cabrera, José Enrique Francisco Cabrera, and Mario Francisco Millán. The missing minors, for whom the Amber Alert was activated, are Diego Alfonso Francisco Sacristán, Leandro Giovanni Francisco Sacristán, and Raymundo Santos Francisco. An investigation file has been opened for the crime of disappearance committed by private individuals against these ten people in the Central region.
