In the municipality of Coacalco, in the State of Mexico, Brandon Salvador 'N', alleged leader of the criminal organization 'Los Gastones', was detained by elements of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico and the Special Affairs Prosecutor's Office of Edomex. This organization was dedicated to drug sales, extortion, and kidnappings in the eastern part of Mexico City.

According to reports, Brandon Salvador 'N', also known as 'Gastoncito', took on the role of distributing narcotics in the municipalities of Milpa Alta, Xochimilco, and Tláhuac after the capture of his father, Gastón Montealegre Medina, alias 'El Gastón', who was the previous leader of the criminal organization.

The detention of 'Gastoncito' took place in the Bosques del Valle neighborhood, after a search warrant was issued in Coacalco, located northwest of the Valley of Mexico, in the border area with the municipality of Ecatepec. During the operation, 102 bags of a white substance, marijuana, cash, a cartridge for a firearm, a computer, and a mobile phone were seized.

The action involved forces from the Defense Ministry, Navy, Attorney General's Office (FGR), Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC), and the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico. According to judicial sources, Brandon Salvador 'N' was responsible for planning and coordinating executions against members of rival groups, as well as perpetrating the murders of his relatives in December 2023 in the municipality of Tláhuac.

The detainee is also implicated in the forced disappearance of relatives of a criminal leader in August 2024, as well as an attack in San Andrés Mixquic, where one person was shot and two adults along with a minor were kidnapped.

For months, Brandon Salvador had been tracked in the municipalities of Tultitlán and Coacalco, where he coordinated the activities of his criminal group with the support of his family, who were responsible for monitoring the presence of security forces.
