El Buen Fin, the most important commercial event of the year in Mexico, will take place from Friday, November 15 until Monday, November 18. During this period, millions of people will go out in search of special offers. To ensure the safety of citizens, various municipalities in Nuevo León have implemented security operations.
In Monterrey, around 350 police officers and 6,000 surveillance cameras will be deployed to ensure everything proceeds normally. In Guadalupe, a special operation has been launched to prevent thefts and provide assistance to residents. Mayor Héctor García, together with local authorities, initiated the Buen Fin Operation with the aim of protecting citizens' assets and ensuring a successful Buen Fin.
During the kickoff event, authorities from the National Defense Secretariat, Civil Force, and Civil Protection of Guadalupe were present. The Secretariat of Public Security, Citizen Protection and Social Prevention of Guadalupe will carry out the Buen Fin Operation 2024 from November 15 to 18, with the purpose of maintaining the safety of citizens and local businesses.
The security deployment will include the strategic presence of 300 personnel in 24 shopping centers and key areas of the municipality, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. With 250 police officers, 50 traffic agents, 34 vehicles, and 9 motorcycles, the aim is to offer an effective and preventive service. The main thoroughfares where commercial establishments are concentrated are: Miguel Alemán, Pablo Livas, Eloy Cavazos, Acapulco, Ruiz Cortines, and Benito Juárez.
On the other hand, San Pedro has also launched a security operation to guarantee the integrity of its residents during El Buen Fin. With the participation of 350 personnel and the use of drones for comprehensive surveillance, the goal is to maintain tranquility in all commercial areas. Authorities invite the population to enjoy promotions safely and are available for any risk situation through the emergency number 911.
The commitment of the authorities is clear in both municipalities: to ensure a safe and orderly environment so that citizens can confidently enjoy the activities of El Buen Fin. With these operations, a zero balance is expected in terms of safety for all residents and visitors during this important commercial event.
