The government of Guadalupe presented the security plan 'TÁCTICO' (Tactics and Action Against Criminal Impunity), with the aim of having the best police corporation and consolidating its efforts towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Mayor Héctor García highlighted that this strategy is focused on prevention, intelligence, and coordinated work with the State and the Federation, which has yielded good results in the current administration. 'Today, with the good numbers that reflect it, with the good elements we have, with this modern engineering team, with this software and with many more surveillance cameras already installed in Guadalupe, of which there were very few, I feel confident in saying that Guadalupe is ready in terms of security to receive the great World Cup so that all international and national tourists can come safely to enjoy,' said Mayor Héctor García. He also pointed out that the Secretariat of Public Security, Citizen Protection, and Social Prevention, led by Alfredo Fabela, has achieved very good results, such as a 60% reduction in homicides, seizure of weapons, and dismantling of criminal groups, as well as an increase in the perception of security, rising from 49.6% to 55.8% in just one year. It was reported that TÁCTICO is structured around five strategic axes: Zero Impunity; Intelligence and Technology; Operational Capacity and Tactical Response; Proximity and Citizen Trust; Honor, Ethics, and Professionalization. The objective of the TÁCTICO Plan is to guarantee justice, respond effectively, and strengthen citizen confidence.
