Due to religious representations and processions on Friday, April 3, temporary road closures will be implemented in various points of Guanajuato capital from morning until night. Authorities are calling on citizens to anticipate their travel plans.

Starting at 09:00, closures will begin in areas such as Cata, San Roque, Marfil, La Compañía, Santa Rosa, Santa Teresa, Mellado, Cuevas, and Pueblito de Rocha, where processions will affect main streets and connecting roads. From 10:00, closures will be added in Valenciana, Yerbabuena, Puentecillas, San Sebastián, and the area of Calle Peñitas and Bajada del Cerro del Gallo. In the latter case, disruptions are estimated between 10:30 and 12:00.

In the afternoon and evening, starting at 18:00, processions will continue, including the Santo Entierro, with routes in Cata, San Sebastián, San Roque, and Pueblito de Rocha, while in Yerbabuena and La Compañía, activities will extend until 21:00.

Authorities specified that the closures will be momentary and as the religious contingents advance, traffic will be progressively restored in each area. Operational elements will be deployed to provide traffic support and guidance to drivers and pedestrians.

The population is advised to consider alternative routes, leave in advance, and follow the instructions of on-site personnel to avoid setbacks.
