The Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, presented her First Government Report to the State Congress, fulfilling her obligation to provide accountability. During her message, she highlighted the historical significance of having, for the first time, a governor present the report before a president of the Congress. "This is a moment that implies great responsibility, because we must respond with results to the fight of so many women who paved the way for us," stated the governor.
The document includes progress in various key areas: **Security:** Presentation of the CONFIA strategy (Operational Coordination of the New Anti-Crime Intelligence Force). **Social development:** Continuation of infrastructure projects and improvement of public services initiated in the previous administration. **Gender-balanced government:** For the first time, Guanajuato has a cabinet with an equal number of women and men. **Support for women:** Implementation of the ALIADAS program, which includes educational scholarships, financial support, and job training, health care, and legal advice.
Regarding the economy, the report highlights that Guanajuato remains among the five most important economies in Mexico, focusing on job creation and investment despite global uncertainty. In the education sector, school recovery programs were promoted for students who dropped out, and transportation scholarships were granted to students in remote communities.
With the delivery of this report, the State Congress will analyze the results presented, considering both the advances of the current administration and the transition from the previous one. The information contained will be available starting Friday, March 7, on the state government's digital media, presenting results from both the current administration and the previous management led by Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo.
At the event, the state governor delivered the report to the President of the State Congress, Miriam Reyes Carmona, in the presence of deputies from the LXVI Legislature.
