Attempted Assassination of Senator Revealed

During a recent social media broadcast, the president of the Senate's Board of Directors, Gerardo Fernández Noroña, shared shocking details about an assassination attempt he suffered during a trip in Guanajuato. According to his account, on the way back, around 5:00 in the morning, they were hit by two vehicles from the Presidential General Staff.

"We traveled all night, and when we were arriving around 5:00 in the morning, 4:30, we were rammed, there were two from the Presidential General Staff behind us," Fernández Noroña narrated. He assured that he kept the license plates of the involved vehicles and filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office at that time, although he lamented that no action was taken regarding it.

The politician indicated that he was accompanied on that trip by his ex-partner and a professional driver, a truck driver, whose skill behind the wheel would have saved their lives. He claimed that the alleged officials assigned to the Secretariat of National Defense intended to kill them in the incident.

"If I had been driving, we wouldn't be talking about it, but it was a truck driver. We were rammed by one of those big pickups they call Monster...," Fernández Noroña detailed. The incident occurred in Guanajuato, near the ranch of a person he referred to derogatorily.

This testimony from Gerardo Fernández Noroña has caused a stir in the political arena, as it points to a dangerous episode in which he accuses the Presidential General Staff of attempting to take his life.
