Mexico City, Nov 4 (EFE).- Thirteen alleged criminals killed, four arrested, and nine people freed was the result of a clash between Mexico's Security Forces and an armed group in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, in the northwest of the country.The clash occurred this Monday in the community of La Brecha, in the city of Guasave, Sinaloa, according to what was reported on social networks by the head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) of Mexico, Omar GarcĂa Harfuch.According to the official, the events occurred around 12:45 local time in La Brecha, where agents were carrying out security patrol duties when they were attacked by an armed group that was hidden under a bridge.After the events, the head of Security of Mexico himself reported that the immediate response of the Federal Forces allowed thirteen aggressors to lose their lives.Additionally, four other alleged criminals were detained, while the authorities released nine people who were being held hostage.He also reported the seizure of seven vehicles, long-barreled weapons, and tactical equipment, which were made available to the Attorney General's Office of the Republic (FGR) of Mexico.EFE Photos
