The governor of Sonora, Alfonso Durazo Montaño, reported on the results of operations carried out during the month of February across the Sonora territory by the authorities that make up the State Security Table. In total, 621 people were captured and a large quantity of narcotics and other illegal items were seized.

In terms of narcotics, 285 kilograms of marijuana, 52,000 fentanyl pills, 1.6 kilograms of crystal, 26 kilograms of cocaine, and 20 kilograms of heroin were confiscated. Additionally, tactical equipment, vehicles such as ATVs, tractor-trailers, and trailers were seized, along with a sum of 225,374 pesos in cash and 126,322 dollars.

All seized material and detained individuals were handed over to the Federal Public Ministry for the corresponding investigations. Durazo Montaño emphasized the joint work of institutions such as the Mexican Army, National Guard, Attorney General's Office, AMIC, and the State Public Security Police in these successful operations.

According to the governor, an impressive arsenal was secured, which included 462 firearms (380 long and 82 short), 422,343 cartridges, and 3,212 magazines. Additionally, 620 vehicles were confiscated, including 178 motorcycles, and 97 properties used in illegal activities were secured. These figures demonstrate the daily hard work carried out by security institutions, to which Durazo Montaño expressed his ongoing recognition.
