Viva Airlines Expands Operations in 2025

The airline Viva will strengthen its operations in 2025 with increases in the number of frequencies of its flights to and from Monterrey, as well as the opening of new routes in various entities of the country. Starting in April, the new international route between Querétaro and Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, will be inaugurated, and the frequencies of the route from Monterrey will also be increased.

During the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid, Viva's staff met with tourism secretaries from different Mexican states. Among them, the meeting with Miguel Aguíñiga from Baja California stood out, where the airline announced four new routes that will start in May to Hermosillo, La Paz, Querétaro, and Veracruz. Additionally, in a meeting with Michelle Fridman, the Tourism Secretary of Jalisco, the increase in frequencies of the route to Puerto Vallarta from Monterrey starting April 1 of this year was communicated.

During these meetings, Viva's representatives discussed investment projects and new routes planned for 2025, in addition to highlighting recently launched routes or routes about to begin operations. The airline operates flights with the youngest fleet in Mexico and the fifth youngest in North America, composed of 90 A320 and A321 aircraft.
