On social media, profiles have been identified that offer accounts and licenses for drivers of platforms like Uber, DiDi, and InDriver. It is claimed that payment can be made after the first trip, and services such as account boosting, license renewal, and internal consultations are offered, along with licenses for different types of vehicles and delivery personnel.
A taxi driver reports irregularities in the service, mentioning the presence of "pirate units" that provide services illegally and without undergoing the necessary safety checks. Complaints have been received about charges without service provided and incidents such as drivers leaving with items forgotten by users.
Regarding the safety of trips in these applications, there is concern that the certification required for drivers may be fraudulently acquired through social media. It is stated that profiles have been found on Facebook selling accounts to work as a driver with fake documentation at prices ranging from 700 to 1200 pesos.
It is noted that these accounts include facial unlocking, falsified documents, and the possibility of providing service with vehicles that do not meet the age requirements demanded by the platforms. Services for food delivery applications like DiDi Foods and Uber Eats are also offered.
