The taco company Los Capri has expansion plans for the coming years, with the opening of three new branches in 2025, one of them in the metropolitan area of Monterrey (AMM). Currently, they already have four branches in operation and are expanding some of them, such as the one in Apodaca and the one in San Agustín.
In an interview with El Financiero, Daniel Olivares, general manager of Tacos Los Capri, mentioned that the company currently receives about 30 thousand customers per month. With the expansion of the two mentioned branches, it is expected that the number will increase to 60 thousand customers by the end of 2025. Los Capri was founded in 2010 in Apodaca and has since experienced significant growth.
The origin of the name "Tacos Los Capri" is because in its beginnings, they only sold carne asada tacos and "caprichos," which led customers to know them as "Los Capri." Each of the branches currently employs around 30 to 35 people, totaling 120 collaborators. With the new openings, it is expected to add approximately 50 more collaborators by the end of 2025.
Regarding the culinary offer, Daniel Olivares highlighted a current trend towards the sophistication of tacos, as consumers increasingly seek quality. The tacos from Los Capri include cuts like rib eye and chuletón, with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The company's commitment to "supreme quality" encompasses everything from the sauces to the daily selection process of all ingredients.
Olivares observes a change in the food industry, with new generations opting for a healthier lifestyle. With a focus on the quality and freshness of the ingredients, Tacos Los Capri aims to meet the demands of more discerning consumers and strengthen its presence in the taco market.
