Following violent incidents after the Monterrey vs. Pachuca game, families of victims decried inadequate support from the Rayados club. Legal and health assistance claims remain unaddressed, raising concerns over club responsibilities.

Rayados Under Fire for Lack of Support After Violence

After the incidents, the Rayados team issued a statement announcing follow-up on the case to withdraw subscriptions from the aggressors and offer legal assistance to the victims who wish to file complaints. A complaint on social media revealed that the affected family had not received any assistance from the club, despite what was announced.

"Fernanda López expressed her frustration on her personal profile about the lack of support received: 'My dad is going to have foot surgery and my brother has a splinter between his cheekbone and jaw... I find it unfair that they want to disregard this way and do absolutely nothing. My family is still very affected by what happened and I hope for a response,'" shared López.

In a second case, a woman claiming to be a relative of the assaulted reported on social media the lack of support from the team. After a match at the BBVA Stadium between Monterrey and Pachuca, a viral video emerged showing Rayados supporters beating visiting fans outside the stadium.

In the images, the aggressors are seen kicking two defenseless men on the ground. The complainant communicated that the club would only intervene if the lives of those affected were in danger, providing attention at a specific IMSS hospital. This generated criticism on social media for the lack of support and accompanied the posts with screenshots of the statement issued by the team, as well as a conversation with an alleged member of the Monterrey legal team.

Last weekend, violence once again marked Liga MX with these heinous events.
