The governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, responded to the failing grades given by the association Cómo Vamos in mobility and environment categories. He defended his strategy to strengthen urban routes, which he stated are either low-emission or electric, a claim that does not align with the state's overall environmental situation. "They are either low-emission or they are electric," the governor commented. Regarding mobility, he assured that he has transformed this sector during his first four years in office, and that the standardization of digital payments has prevented corruption with transporters. "For those who say we are doing nothing in terms of air quality, the new trucks do not pollute," he stated. "I can tell you with complete certainty that four years later we have completely transformed the trucks of Nuevo León, today we are a national example," he added. "All digital, all electronic, all transparent, all with control and there is no longer corruption, because there are no more cash payments, that is the mobility of Nuevo León today," García Sepúlveda added.
