Gymnastics coach Dámazo Rodríguez has been accused by several girls of inappropriate conduct during classes. One of the affected girls shared her experience, saying that the coach did not allow them to adjust their leotards, squeezed them inappropriately, and prevented them from training if they did not comply with his demands, such as not wearing shorts. The affected girls mentioned that they thought these actions were normal until they realized otherwise.
So far, a total of eight complaints have been filed against Dámazo Rodríguez, who worked at the Klass gym. Others have shared their testimonies on social media, claiming to have been victims of the same type of behavior by the accused. The Klass gym, where Rodríguez worked, has revealed that it is receiving threats and has requested understanding and support from the community.
Prosecutor Javier Flores reported that Dámazo Rodríguez had been reported in 2015 for offenses against modesty, and that one of his former students filed a similar complaint 10 years ago. However, one of the alleged victims, Itatí Cárdenas, stated on social media that she never forgave the coach. Another former student, Ximena Medina, has also shared her experience on Facebook about Dámazo Hinojosa's inappropriate actions.
