The mother of baby Karely, known as Lupita TikTok, thanked the public for their concern about her daughter's health. Although she has not provided details about the little one's condition, her father, Ricardo Medellín, revealed in an interview with Multimedios that his daughter has health problems. According to him, it is a case of possible medical negligence, as the doctors allegedly failed to inform them that the baby's skull did not form properly and that she has complications with her kidneys.
In the same interview, Ricardo Medellín mentioned that the baby was taken back to the hospital after showing fever and agitation, where they later diagnosed her with a kidney infection. An investigation is underway at the DIF Capullos of Nuevo León to determine whether there was negligence in the girl's treatment. The president of DIF, Mariana Rodríguez, suggested that there could be a substance abuse problem, although Lupita TikTok denied any mistreatment towards her baby.
After circulating rumors about a possible diagnosis of brain death for Karely, Lupita TikTok denied this information, assuring that so far the doctors have not confirmed that her baby has passed away. The mother indicated that she is resting and will provide more information in the coming days. Ricardo Medellín, for his part, shared that they are waiting for results to determine the girl's health status.
