This decision comes after Pato Zambrano joined the Movimiento Ciudadano party, despite having been presented as a candidate for the mayoralty of Monterrey by Vida Nuevo León.
During the conference, Ochoa emphasized that the termination of the contract is not an act of revenge, but a consequence of feeling mocked and deceived by Zambrano, despite having trusted him. The party president mentioned that all the economic requirements of Pato Zambrano were met, providing him with legal, human, and material resources to strengthen his candidacy.
Jaime Ochoa highlighted his party's stance of not taking legal action to enforce the contract, choosing instead to leave the situation in the hands of faith and the teachings received. He explained that by hiring an elite security team and providing various material resources for Zambrano's political project, they fulfilled the agreement without seeking legal retaliation.
