Senator Judith Díaz Delgado holds massive report in Monterrey

The senator for Nuevo León, Judith Díaz Delgado, held her massive report at the GNP stage in Pavilion M in Monterrey, gathering around 3,000 people and being supported by much of the 4T's actors. She was accompanied by the mayor of Escobedo, Andrés Mijes; federal officials, Tatiana Clouthier and Clara Luz Flores; her running mate, Waldo Fernández; as well as federal and local deputies from both MORENA and the Green Party; and senators from various states. In her brief speech, she concluded with an emotional speech about the entity and a subtle jab at the current government: 'Today, I affirmed with conviction that Nuevo León is a blessed land, of a noble, hardworking, brave, resilient people... from the field, from academia, from the home. The greatness of Nuevo León has never been the work of any government or a single person, it is its people, of those who innovate, invest, undertake... Today I make a call for Nuevo León, that we be co-responsible for what happens in our State... that we leave aside the temptation for power or unlimited wealth, that we respect the autonomy of institutions and organizations. Let arrogance and superficiality not defeat us, Nuevo León deserves to live in peace and without extortion, we deserve to live without improvisations, respect our time with agility in mobility, we deserve well-done works, dignified transportation, and authorities that do comply'. Upon concluding her legislative report, when speaking to the media, she dismissed that there is a move towards the governorship and thanked those present, many of whom hinted at such an intention. 'Today we also celebrate the Law of Substantive Equality, which ensures not only the presence of women in public office, the next step is that local deputies make the modifications in the constitution of our state, that we ensure our women are protected, that they have access to a dignified life, without violence and that if they decide, they can govern, be President of the Republic... the transformation is written with women at the forefront, because it is time for women,' she declared. The attendance at the event intensified the slogans of 'My senator, will be governor!'. In parallel, she called for unity in MORENA and assured that her event was proof of it. 'We have approved more than 20 constitutional reforms, many of them sent to our first president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, and from here we send her all our support and solidarity,' she said at the event. In MORENA, the focus of the senator on the Law of Substantive Equality and the push for the gender issue during her report caused tension. 'What we want is to serve from where we are... in Nuevo León we have problems with drainage, clean air, mobility and transportation, we are going to work in the Legislative matter,' said Díaz Delgado. 'To confirm that the public service that is sustained in citizen trust... I come to speak on behalf of the Parliamentary Group of MORENA of which I am proud to be a part,' said the senator. Her report focused on highlighting the programs and support of the 4T for women, students, and the livestock sector; as well as federal projects such as the CDMX-Laredo Train, and appropriating the party's constitutional reforms, such as those of the Judiciary, among others. 'I thank you very much, when the times come we will see, my party has its method of surveys to choose the candidates, in its time the time will come'. 'The unity of MORENA depends on everyone, here they were invited and all attended, but it is the work of all, it is the object and the message of those of us who were here forward,' she concluded. The mayor, Adrián de la Garza, peripheral and rural councilors, as well as entrepreneurs, were also present.
