The authorities in Nuevo León are investigating a case that originated from a social media account known as "La Tía Paty." This account turned into a platform for defamation, alleged extortion, and purported human trafficking. According to the state's Attorney General, Javier Flores, there are currently seven formal complaints from victims, but they are aware of at least ten people who have not yet filed a report. The Attorney General called on all affected individuals to come forward and cooperate with the legal process. He emphasized that the institution's stance is to promote a culture of legality. Flores also clarified that to date, no formal complaint has been received regarding the alleged threats that the case's lawyer publicly denounced from the accused's family.
