A criminal group is engaged in a constant struggle with other criminal organizations in various areas of the state. The local government has indicated that, despite appearing close to the population, it is these armed individuals who commit murders, kidnappings, and extortions. It is crucial for the people to reject their propaganda.

During Holy Saturday, two red trucks with armed individuals circulated in a locality of Michoacán. Despite confrontations, violence shows no mercy. Morelia continues to record high homicide rates in the state. The mayor of the capital, Alfonso Martínez, has faced difficulties in reducing crime.

Regarding narcocorridos, the governor of Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, has stated that the glorification of crime is prohibited in the region. In this sense, groups like Los Alegres del Barranco, which glorify crime, will not be able to perform in Maravatío, as they had planned. Other musical groups with violent themes have also been banned from holding concerts.

Ramírez Bedolla emphasized in a press conference that permits will not be granted to groups promoting violence through their music. The polling agency Enkoll revealed that 71% of Michoacán residents support the prohibition of narcocorridos at public events. The government assured that the presence of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel in Huajúmbar is part of their propaganda, similar to that conducted in other states of the country, although they have also carried out community support activities such as toy distribution.

In Huajúmbar, 'tumbados' corridos were spread in an attempt to connect with the population. Armed individuals identified as part of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel acted in that place, despite the imposed restrictions.
