Four arrested and assets secured in Nogales

The Sonora State Security Table reported the arrest of four people in Nogales, as well as the seizure of weapons, drugs, and animals. A second operation involved more drugs and a capuchin monkey.


Four arrested and assets secured in Nogales

The State Security Board of Sonora reported on a raid carried out at a home in the Cíbutas ejido, in the municipality of Nogales, where four people were arrested and several assets were secured. The detainees were identified as Jonathan 'N', Gastón Alberto 'N', Andrés 'N', and Elsa 'N', and were arrested by agents of the Attorney General's Office (FGR).

During the operation, various items of interest were secured, such as weapons and ammunition, drugs, animals, and vehicles. Among the confiscated items were 4 firearms, 5 magazines, and 108 cartridges. Also found were 3 jars, 2 bags, and a package containing marijuana. Additionally, 19 horses, 2 deer, and 1 tiger were recovered, along with 6 vehicles, and a sum of 298,000 pesos in cash was secured.

The detained individuals, the items, and the secured property were placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Ministry for the corresponding investigation. In another operation, at a residence in the municipality of Nogales, a seizure was also carried out where a capuchin monkey, vehicles, drugs, and a property were found. Agents from the Attorney General's Office (FGR) secured a container with marijuana, two with fentanyl, two with cocaine, two with heroin, as well as the capuchin monkey.

12 vehicles were secured including pickups, vans, tractor-trailers, sedans, and ATVs, as well as the property where they were being kept. The entire operation and the findings were reported by the State Security Board of Sonora.
