The governor of Puebla, Alejandro Armenta Mier, has expressed his support for the President of the Republic in the fight for national sovereignty. Armenta highlighted his commitment to the consumption of local and national products as a measure to strengthen the merchants and producers of the state, emphasizing Mexico's potential to move forward economically.
In a meeting in the Zócalo of Mexico City alongside other governors of the country, Armenta expressed his support for the actions of the federal government in response to the tariff announcements from the United States. In this context, the state governor emphasized the importance of strengthening the consumption of local products as support for the measures implemented at the federal level.
As part of these initiatives, it has been announced that through different state dependencies, the acquisition of school shoes for students in Puebla will be carried out, and the hot meals program will be complemented with the purchase of beans. Additionally, the acquisition of 500 Volkswagen vehicles is planned to be allocated for the public security of the state.
On the other hand, the Secretary of Economic Development and Labor of Puebla is already working on a plan to promote the export of Puebla products to various international markets such as Canada, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. In this sense, the aim is to strengthen the presence of local offerings in these important markets.
