Flor del Bosque Park Temporarily Closed for Renovation

Flor del Bosque Park will be temporarily closed from March 23 to August due to construction and rehabilitation works for the Eco Parque “Pensar en Grande” project. This was reported by the Decentralized Public Body (OPD) Conventions and Parks, which detailed that the measure aims to guarantee the safety of visitors during the development of the works. The works began on February 5 in the aquatic area and include the rehabilitation of cabins, paths, service modules, cisterns, sanitary facilities, and hydraulic infrastructure. Additionally, efforts will be intensified in key areas such as the sports area, parking lots, electrical installations, and high-traffic spaces. The total closure of the park will allow for the acceleration of the works and avoid risks to visitors due to simultaneous intervention at different points on the premises. This project is part of the transformation of the space into the Eco Parque “Pensar en Grande”, an initiative that seeks to strengthen the environmental, recreational, and tourist infrastructure of Puebla for the benefit of families and visitors. According to official information, the works will have a duration of 240 natural days, equivalent to eight months, so its completion is scheduled for August 1, 2026. For the execution of the ecopark, 70 additional hectares were incorporated, with an estimated investment of 200 million pesos. The new space will focus on environmental conservation, family recreation, and technological development.
