Special Operation to Protect Visitors' Economy at Puebla Fair 2026

To protect the economy of visitors and ensure unprecedented traffic order, the board of the Puebla Fair 2026 announced a special operation to regulate the activity of "parking lot attendants" in the Los Fuertes area, as well as a massive extension of public transport hours. Juan Carlos Moreno Valle, event coordinator, was emphatic: no person may condition public parking in exchange for payment. To achieve this, an official identification scheme will be implemented in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior (Segob). Official Identification: Service providers will wear the official logo of the Puebla Fair. No Counter-reward: It is strictly prohibited to ask for money from drivers. Zone Control: The operation will cover all areas around the fairgrounds and the historic Los Fuertes area to prevent abuses or "reserved" spots. As a secondary measure to discourage the use of private vehicles and facilitate the flow after concerts at the Teatro del Pueblo, the Ministry of Mobility and Transport (SMT) will have special logistics that include: ROUTE (Metrobus): Lines 1 and 3 will extend their service hours to efficiently evacuate attendees. Conventional Routes: The JBS (Morados) route will operate until 1:00 AM. Safe Taxis: An exclusive taxi zone with surveillance will be enabled to guarantee fair rates and safety on the trip. Finally, the coordinator highlighted that the event has been renewed by 90%, integrating seven new pavilions, among which stand out the technology forum, the military expo, and the pavilion of traditional cooks. These improvements aim to offer a high-quality experience, which, added to access control, will guarantee a pleasant stay for Puebla families.
