Inauguration of the Metropolitan Corridor of Offerings 2024

The Metropolitan Corridor of Offerings in Puebla 2024 will take place from October 27 to November 3 and will include 25 venues as part of the Day of the Dead celebrations in the capital of Puebla. Among the state agencies that will be part of the route are the House of Culture, the State Congress, the Palace of Justice, the Municipal Palace, and the Human Rights Commission.

One of the highlighted offerings will be a tribute to the Puebla soprano Elisa Ávalos Martínez, who passed away in September at the age of 43. In addition, there will be participation from the auxiliary boards of San Jerónimo Caleras, San Felipe Hueyotlipan, and San Sebastián de Aparicio, along with the municipalities of San Andrés and San Pedro Cholula.

Museos Puebla published the venues that will host monumental offerings, which can be admired starting this weekend. Some of these venues include the Regional Museum Casa de Alfeñique, San Pedro Museum of Art, José Luis Bello y González Museum, Erasto Cortés Workshop Museum, Patio de los Azulejos, Museum of the Army and Air Force of Mexico, Ex-convent of Santa Rosa Popular Art Museum, and Museum of the Mexican Revolution Casa de los Hermanos Serdán.

Entry to these venues is completely free, and visitors will be able to take photographs without restrictions, as long as they respect the altars without damaging or touching them. This event is an opportunity to immerse oneself in the rich tradition and culture of the Day of the Dead in Puebla, which is a living testament to heritage and rooted customs.
