The director of the Auxiliary Police of Puebla, Alejandro Ramírez Ulloa, has come under criticism after being accused of allegedly soliciting payments from candidates seeking to join the corporation. Ramírez Ulloa has actively used social media to promote the incorporation of new members, sharing his personal phone number for interested individuals to contact him directly and apply for the current 200 vacancies.
Several testimonies have emerged accusing Ramírez Ulloa of requesting payments ranging from 4,000 to 30,000 pesos to guarantee a quick and unobstructed entry into the police institution. Applicants have claimed that the payment required by the director of the Auxiliary Police would accelerate the selection process and allow them to be admitted without completing the usual procedures.
These allegations have raised concerns among the population due to possible acts of corruption within the corporation, which could compromise the transparency and credibility of the institution responsible for public security. The situation is awaiting a potential investigation by local authorities to clarify the events and confirm the veracity of the accusations.
If these practices are confirmed, they could have serious consequences both within the corporation and in the public perception of the Auxiliary Police of Puebla.
