César Aspiros, a graduate of the Bachelor's degree in Genomic Sciences at UNAM, has stood out for his passion for science. His participation in the 2024 High-Level Political Forum at the UN headquarters with the Mexican delegation reflects his interest in the science-politics-diplomacy interface for global scientific governance.
Due to his track record, UNAM nominated him for the Al Fozan Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists organized by UNESCO. Since July 2022, he has been the International President and Founder of the United Federation of Science, an organization focused on positioning science in social, economic, and sustainable development.
As a member of Rómpe la Mexicana, he seeks to promote an economy based on scientific research, innovation, and technological development. In the academic field, he has dedicated himself to personalized medicine, especially in the research of rare diseases. His work as a data analyst in the Mexican Network of Rare Diseases has contributed to the understanding of the epidemiology of these diseases in the Mexican population.
