César Aspiroses Promotes Science in Governance

César Aspiroses, a prominent scientist from Oaxaca, has been recognized for his efforts in promoting science in governance at the UN and leading youth initiatives in Mexico.


César Aspiros, a graduate of the Bachelor's degree in Genomic Sciences at UNAM, has stood out for his passion for science. His participation in the 2024 High-Level Political Forum at the UN headquarters with the Mexican delegation reflects his interest in the science-politics-diplomacy interface for global scientific governance.

Due to his track record, UNAM nominated him for the Al Fozan Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists organized by UNESCO. Since July 2022, he has been the International President and Founder of the United Federation of Science, an organization focused on positioning science in social, economic, and sustainable development.

As a member of Rómpe la Mexicana, he seeks to promote an economy based on scientific research, innovation, and technological development. His designation as Youth Ambassador of Querétaro by the National Council for the 2030 Agenda and the UN in Mexico reaffirms his commitment to sustainability through science.

Also recognized as a global representative of youth at World Habitat Day 2024, César Aspiros has been part of notable initiatives. His work in the Kybernus program and his participation in the expert panel for the Quality of Life Initiative demonstrate his commitment to improving quality of life.

In the academic field, he has dedicated himself to personalized medicine, especially in the research of rare diseases. His work as a data analyst in the Mexican Network of Rare Diseases has contributed to the understanding of the epidemiology of these diseases in the Mexican population.

In addition to his scientific achievements, César Aspiros is also recognized as an advocate for scientific democratization and a visionary strategist in the business world. With an extensive background at the International Laboratory for Human Genome Research at UNAM, César Aspiros stands out for his work and impact both nationally and internationally in the field of science.
