The PRI faces financial crisis in Querétaro

The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in Querétaro is currently facing a significant financial challenge, having had to pay more than 31 million pesos in fines during the current term of its leader, Abigail Arredondo Ramos. These fines have accumulated since the previous administrations of Juan José Ruiz and Paul Ospital, due to omissions or non-compliance.

According to Arredondo Ramos, former leader Paul Ospital left a debt of over 13 million pesos, despite having led the party for less than 2 years. This situation has forced the PRI to allocate between 30% and 50% of its monthly income to cover these sanctions, which has posed a real financial challenge for the organization.

Despite the delicate economic situation, the party has not halted its activities and continues to operate thanks to an internal restructuring process that aims to improve finances and ensure future viability. It is important to highlight the PRI's effort to overcome these adversities and remain operational amid financial difficulties. As mentioned by the president of the State Directing Committee, the internal restructuring is allowing the party to continue its activities and meet its commitments despite the financial challenges it faces.
