
The Association of Industrial Mipymes of Querétaro (AMIQRO) and the Energy Agency of Querétaro have joined forces to promote energy efficiency, the implementation of renewable technologies, and the integration of energy systems in small and medium industrial enterprises in the state. The signing of this agreement took place at the facilities of Kaeser Mexico, located in the capital of Querétaro.
AMIQRO presented its new Energy Commission during the event, which aims to promote energy sustainability through technical advice, project development, and the creation of a supply ecosystem that encompasses services, technology, and financing options. Cuauhtémoc Acevedo, president of AMIQRO, emphasized that this Commission will focus on the challenges of nearshoring and the environmental and social commitments of the industrial sector.
As part of the agreement, events, workshops, and seminars will be held aimed at entrepreneurs and the general public in order to raise awareness about the energy transition, decarbonization, and technological solutions adapted to the region. Mauricio Caracheo, president of the Energy Agency of Querétaro, stressed that this agreement will facilitate collaboration with local, national, and international actors in the academic, public, and private sectors to develop comprehensive energy projects with viable financing mechanisms.
