New Payment Methods Introduced for Qrobús Transport

The director of the Mobility Agency of the State of Querétaro (Ameq), Gerardo Cuanalo, reported that starting in November, all units operating on trunk routes of Qrobús will have the option of paying with a bank card. The implementation of this system began on routes T-01 and T-03, and will now be extended to the remaining 13 trunk routes.

This represents a significant advancement in the way transportation can be paid for in Querétaro. The confined stations of Paseo 5 de Febrero and Paseo Constituyentes already have this payment option available. Ameq's goal is for all Qrobús units to incorporate this technology by the end of the year.

Since mid-September to date, the Qrobús system has recorded more than 3,700 payments made with bank cards. The inclusion of this payment method aims to facilitate and expedite transactions for public transport users in the region.

Gerardo Cuanalo emphasized the importance of this initiative and highlighted that the expansion of bank card payments to all trunk routes will enhance the user experience. Starting from the first week of November, all Qrobús users are expected to benefit from this electronic payment method.
