The Municipal Coordination of Civil Protection of Querétaro responded to a report about bee stings in a soccer field located in the Bicentennial Park of the Santa Rosa Jáuregui delegation. A total of 50 people were evaluated on site. One was urgently transferred to a hospital for specialized care, while 8 individuals chose to go on their own to rule out possible allergic reactions. The other 41 people remained on site for examination, showing no severe symptoms or injuries.
The Municipal Coordination of Civil Protection indicated that it is closely collaborating with beekeepers, experts, and emergency teams to properly manage the presence of bees in the area. It also emphasized the importance of not disturbing or attempting to harm the hive if one is found, advising people to seek shelter in a safe location and notify authorities to address the situation appropriately.
In the words of the Municipal Coordination of Civil Protection: "We are coordinating efforts with beekeepers and specialists in the field to ensure the safety of the population in situations like these. It is essential to remain calm and follow the recommendations given to avoid potential risks or complications. Citizen cooperation in such cases is crucial for achieving an effective and safe response."
