At the Theater of the Republic, the commemoration of the 108th anniversary of the promulgation of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States of 1917 took place. During the event, the governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, called for unity as an essential step to fulfill what the Constitution establishes. He pointed out that Mexico will be in the future what is done with it in the present.

In her speech, the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, emphasized the importance of rescuing the lessons of history and enhancing the best of the people to advance together with the homeland. She stressed that Mexico is a free, sovereign, and independent nation, and highlighted that there is a need for strong, efficient, close, and honest governments today. She emphasized that national unity is fundamental to maintaining the sovereignty of the country.

During the ceremony, Mauricio Kuri González praised the calmness and firmness of Claudia Sheinbaum, as well as her ability to dialogue to defend the interests of Mexico. He stated that it is a duty to support the president of the Republic so that, with courage and conviction, she leads the country on the best path. He also highlighted that Mexico has a brave people who are always up to the challenges of history and the future.

In another line of ideas, the president of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Gutiérrez Luna, mentioned that various constitutional reforms have been made to strengthen Mexican democracy and guarantee substantive equality, public safety, and balanced regional and environmental development. For his part, the president of the Board of Directors of the Senate of the Republic, Gerardo Fernández Noroña, emphasized the importance of continuing to work on reforms that strengthen the rule of law and promote citizen participation.

On the occasion of this anniversary, Mauricio Kuri called to set aside confrontation and promote intelligence, consensus, and harmony. He stressed the importance of maintaining national unity and highlighted that the Republic demands the best from its citizens. He also emphasized the need to strengthen Mexican democracy and the country's institutions.
