The state government of Querétaro delivered 63 new patrols and police equipment to 10 municipal corporations and the State Police, with an investment of 123 million pesos from federal and state resources. This delivery included the provision of 47 patrols, portable recording equipment, and uniforms to the police of Amealco, Cadereyta, Colón, Corregidora, Ezequiel Montes, Huimilpan, Pedro Escobedo, San Juan del Río, Tequisquiapan, and Tolimín. The State Police received 16 new units.

The governor of the state, Mauricio Kuri González, highlighted that this new vehicle fleet will help reinforce security in the municipalities, increasing police coverage and presence, promoting inter-institutional coordination, and accelerating responses to citizen complaints. He emphasized that the peace and tranquility of Querétaro families are a priority on the state agenda, underlining the importance of collaboration between the state and municipalities to ensure a secure environment.

In his statements, the governor emphasized: "It is a responsibility we assume from the necessary collaboration between the state and municipalities, forming a solid dam, adding the active participation of citizens, upholding the rule of law, ensuring the proper application of resources, as well as strengthening the work of our police and maintaining order and social peace together."

On the other hand, the Secretary of Citizen Security, Iován Pérez Hernández, urged police officers to make proper and disciplined use of the new units and uniforms. He stressed the importance of agents maintaining security work on the streets while respecting the emblems of the municipalities they have sworn to serve and protect.

In this regard, Pérez Hernández expressed: "Make a proper and disciplined use of these resources because beyond being high-quality materials, they bear the shields of the municipalities you have sworn to serve and protect."
