
In Querétaro, authorities succeeded in the arrest of three people, one of whom was identified as the leader of 'Los Ardillos', a criminal cell active in Guerrero. The Secretary of Citizen Security, Omar García Harfuch, reported this important blow against crime. The joint operation involved elements from the Secretariat of National Defense, Navy, Attorney General's Office, National Guard, and Querétaro state police.
One of the detainees was Vicente Gerardo 'N', known as 'La Garza', who served as the plaza chief of 'Los Ardillos' in Tecoanapa, Guerrero, being a key figure in the generation of violence in the region. He is attributed with several crimes such as homicide, kidnapping, arms trafficking, extortion, vehicle theft, and drug trafficking, in addition to his alleged connection with the murder of Ubel Gutiérrez Hernández, representative of the House of the Peoples of Ayutla.
During the operation in Querétaro, the arrest of Kevin Said 'N', 23 years old, and Julio César 'N', 22 years old, was also achieved. In addition to the arrests, two handguns, blocks of apparent cocaine, and a vehicle were seized. Authorities continue to work to dismantle criminal groups and ensure the tranquility of the population.
