Cristopher Gerardo, a former party entertainer, has been sentenced to 49 years in prison for the feminicides of Alondra Liliana and her mother, as well as for domestic violence against his underage son in an abbreviated judicial process. Additionally, he will have to answer for other crimes such as attempted qualified homicide and crimes against representatives of the authority, to the detriment of the personnel of the state prosecutor's office.

The tragic events took place on January 31, 2023, when Cristopher arrived at the public ministry agency where his wife and mother-in-law were going to testify against him for gender violence. The aggressor opened fire on them in the premises before fleeing. The mother-in-law died in the office, while her daughter was taken to a hospital where, unfortunately, she also lost her life.

Regarding the incident, the then prosecutor Luis Joaquín Méndez Ruiz pointed out the lack of capacity to respond to the aggression, as the prosecutor's office personnel are unarmed. Cristopher Gerardo faces charges of feminicide, domestic violence, and attempted qualified homicide in its advantageous modality.

After a joint and coordinated operation with authorities from Nayarit, he was captured in the Castilla subdivision in Tepic. The sentence includes the payment of compensation, a fine, and reparation for the damage in favor of the victims for a total amount of more than 10 million pesos.
