Children and young people from the Real Madrid Foundation's Educational Football Program (EFP) at Tulum Country Club are preparing to travel to Spain to participate in the Real Madrid Foundation World Challenge 2026.
Pablo Gil Sarrión, the program's Technical Director in Tulum, stated that this week in Madrid allows the children to put their weekly work methodology into practice in a global environment.
The Real Madrid Foundation's Educational Football Program at Tulum Country Club not only focuses on the technical development of football but also integrates fundamental values such as respect, autonomy, equality, and healthy habits. Participation in the World Challenge marks the culmination of the annual training process for the students of this residential community.
This initiative reaffirms Tulum Country Club's vision as a development that integrates well-being and nature with access to world-class educational experiences. Beyond the matches, the agenda includes an inaugural ceremony at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium and a visit to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, offering a complete cultural and sporting experience.
Álvaro Moya, Country Manager of Tulum Country Club, highlighted that the commitment to sports aims to form well-rounded individuals. By promoting sports from an early age through strategic alliances, the community positions itself as a benchmark for human development in the Quintana Roo region.
This friendly international tournament, to be held from March 29 to April 4, will bring together delegations from programs and clinics from over 23 countries, consolidating itself as a space where sport and human development are the main protagonists.
The RMF World Challenge is an event organized by the Real Madrid Foundation and powered by Kaptiva Sports. The competitions will take place in high-level venues such as the Real Madrid City Sports Complex and the José Caballero Polideportivo in Alcobendas, covering the Sub-10, Sub-12, and Sub-14 categories.
Moya recalled that in the previous edition, the team returned as champions, but emphasized that the real value lies in the lifelong memories and learning.
