
In a joint action, the authorities of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico, the Secretariat of National Defense, and the National Guard carried out the capture of Luis 'N', known as 'El Conejo', identified as the leader of the criminal gang dubbed 'Unión 300' or 'Los 300'.
According to information provided by the Mexican Attorney's Office, the detention took place in Veracruz, in compliance with an arrest warrant for his alleged participation in a homicide case. Luis 'N' is also suspected of being involved in a series of crimes ranging from homicides to extortion of transporters, merchants, and entrepreneurs, thefts, damage to private property, as well as attacks on communication routes. His collaboration with municipal authorities to cover up his criminal activities is also being investigated.
Authorities are continuing to investigate his connections with other criminal groups and possible links to corrupt officials with the aim of completely dismantling his operational network. According to collected data, his gang has carried out protests and blockades on streets and highways as part of strategies to pressure authorities and avoid confrontation.
After his arrest, 'El Conejo' was transferred to the State of Mexico, where he underwent a certification process at the state Attorney's Office facilities before being interned in a local prison. The Attorney's Office of the State of Mexico emphasized that the capture of Luis 'N' represents an important advancement in the fight against organized crime in the region, especially as the 'Unión 300' gang has been active in various illicit activities in the State of Mexico.
