
The governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus Navarro, participated in the inauguration of the International Furniture Expo Winter Edition 2025, where he reaffirmed Jalisco's commitment to becoming a benchmark in the furniture industry's design. Lemus Navarro indicated the intention to establish a Furniture Design Center to support small producers in the region.
During the event, an agreement was signed between the Government of Jalisco and the Association of Furniture Manufacturers of Jalisco (AFAMJAL) with the aim of facilitating the participation of local artisans in the Jalisco Crafts Pavilion and promoting the marketing of their products. Additionally, the Government of Zapopan signed a collaboration agreement, establishing a commitment to joint work.
The president of the Association of Furniture Manufacturers of Jalisco, Jorge Ríos Gutiérrez, highlighted the constant presence and support of Governor Pablo Lemus for more than a decade at various editions of the event. The International Furniture Expo 2025, which will take place from February 19 to 22 at Expo Guadalajara, will feature the participation of more than 500 national and international exhibitors.
The event, which represents significant economic output for Jalisco, will bring together furniture manufacturers from different parts of the world, department stores, interior designers, and designers to boost the sector. This edition aims to strengthen the presence of the furniture industry, generate new connections, and enhance sales, in addition to promoting the diversity and quality of the presented products.
Among the attendees at the event were representatives from various institutions and business chambers, such as AFAMJAL, the National Chamber of Commerce of Tlaquepaque, and the Chamber of Industries of Jalisco, as well as municipal authorities from Guadalajara and Zapopan. The International Furniture Expo 2025 is presented as a key space for brand launches, the consolidation of the industry, and the establishment of commercial alliances at the national and international levels.
