The Ministry of Economy of Mexico and the Mexican Consulate in Orlando have organized the LatAm Trade Show Orlando and Port Tampa Bay 2025, an event aimed at strengthening trade exchange between Mexico and the United States. More than 100 Mexican companies from key sectors such as agro-industry, distilled beverages, and medical products are participating in the exhibition, where 380 work meetings with 37 distributors from Florida have been scheduled.
As part of the "Made in Mexico" campaign, which aims to promote the quality and export capacity of national products, the LatAm Trade Show features the prominent presence of the president of the Tequila Regulatory Council and a advisor from the Mezcal Regulatory Council. Mexican authorities such as the governor of Aguascalientes and the economic secretaries of several states have also attended the event.
Economy Secretary Marcelo Ebrard emphasized the importance of promoting the presence of Mexican products in international markets, in line with the instruction to support national companies and workers. During the first day of the fair, significant advances were made, such as a request for fabric samples from a Florida company to a Mexican cooperative of surgical clothing, as well as agreements between companies in the medical and distilled sectors to explore supply options.
The LatAm Trade Show Orlando and Port Tampa Bay 2025 will continue with the participation of tequila, mezcal, and rum companies at the EPCOT Center, where 120 business meetings between Mexican companies and American distributors will take place.
