Afore XXI Banorte Reaches 57 Billion in Voluntary Savings

Afore XXI Banorte has managed to handle more than 57 billion pesos in Voluntary Savings by the end of 2024, positioning itself as a leader in the Retirement Savings System. Of this total, 57% corresponds to contributions made by women, highlighting the equitable gender participation in this aspect.

David Razú Aznar, General Director of the Administrator, emphasized the importance of Voluntary Savings as an inclusion tool that provides workers, including independents, better economic opportunities and a dignified retirement. Afore XXI Banorte will continue to innovate its services to offer flexible and accessible options to users, thereby facilitating voluntary contributions securely and easily.

According to the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (CONSAR), by the end of last year, the accumulated Voluntary Savings in the system exceeded 173 billion pesos, where XXI Banorte represents 33.4% of the total. This reflects the trust of workers in the Afore, especially in the management of savings and the tools it offers for the benefit of account holders.

The figures show a 33% increase compared to 2023, demonstrating the success of the initiatives implemented by the company to encourage voluntary contributions, promote a culture of prevention, and increase financial education in Mexico.

In line with its commitment to promote a culture of saving, XXI Banorte has developed strategies and educational programs to raise awareness about the importance of additional contributions.
