The Government of Jalisco, through the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Public Works (SIOP), informs that the intervention of sections in the state program for road reconstruction and maintenance 2025 will be expanded during the month of May. 21 fronts will be incorporated in different regions of the state, including actions such as the recovery of the asphalt layer, horizontal and vertical signage, cleaning of ditches, and potholes, adapted to the needs of each area.
These new works will be added to the almost 100 road interventions that the SIOP has already initiated between March and April. The roads included are Vía 212 in Encarnación de Díaz, Vía 213 in Lagos de Moreno, Vía 107 in El Salto and Tlajomulco, among others.
The 21 tenders for road maintenance interventions will begin in the second half of May, as indicated by the SIOP publication in the Official State Newspaper of Jalisco. These actions are essential to keep the roads in optimal conditions through reconstruction, periodic and routine maintenance.
The rehabilitation of the roads will not only improve the mobility of residents and tourists but will also boost connectivity between municipalities, regions, and federal highways, as well as commercial and industrial development. The Government of Jalisco's Road Maintenance Program is a priority of the current administration, working to maintain over 4,600 kilometers of the state's road network in optimal conditions.
These actions add to the reconstruction and maintenance efforts made in the last six years, ensuring that the roads of Jalisco continue to be a national benchmark in terms of quality and maintenance.
