The payment of the Special Tax on Products and Services (IEPS) for Premium gasoline remains stable at 6.45 pesos, without receiving tax stimulus since October 2023. On the other hand, the IEPS for regular gasoline remains at 5.45 pesos in the coming days, while diesel is at 7.09 pesos per liter, a situation similar to Magna gasoline, which has not received tax stimulus since the second week of April.

President Claudia Sheinbaum has signed an agreement to establish a "capped" price of 24 pesos per liter for Magna gasoline with the aim of preventing sharp price increases during her term, which will extend for six months, after which the need for renewal will be evaluated.

The Ministry of Finance has decided to maintain fiscal stimuli for fuels, while Profeco is in charge of verifying compliance with the agreement. Despite this, gas stations selling above the established price have been detected and are marked with a banner that says "Do not fill up here."

On the other hand, the Ministry of Finance has reported that there will be no support for fuels this week, after previously eliminating support during Holy Week. Regarding the fiscal stimuli for gasoline, Magna will remain without fiscal stimulus, as will Verde gasoline from April 26 to May 2.
