The opposition expressed its disagreement with the Economic Package 2025 presented by the government of Claudia Sheinbaum to the Congress of the Union. The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) led by Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas met to analyze the budget. The PRI criticized that the projected deficit and proposed cuts would increase public debt and have a negative impact on key areas such as infrastructure, health, and education.

In a meeting, the PRI warned about significant cuts in the health and education sectors, as well as the lack of measures to protect family economies and promote employment. They committed to proposing alternatives that protect Mexican families and promote sustainable development. Alejandro Moreno described the budget as "insensitive" and criticized the reduction in health funding, considering it would affect millions of families.

On the other hand, Congresswoman Noemí Luna from the National Action Party (PAN) expressed her concern about the cuts in health and security, especially in the funds allocated to these areas. In a video, she mentioned that budget cuts would severely impact essential areas for social well-being. Additionally, PAN legislators spread a message pointing out the cuts in security, health, and education as the "Good End" version that Morena offers the population.

Congresswoman Ivonne Ortega Pacheco from the Citizen Movement highlighted the increase in public debt and cuts in fundamental areas such as health and security proposed in the 2025 Expenditure Budget. She mentioned that the cuts exceed 30% compared to the previous budget and represent a risk to vital sectors that directly affect the population. She assured that her parliamentary group would carefully analyze the fiscal package to ensure attention in critical sectors such as health and public security.
