Pablo Cruz Discusses New Series About Chespirito

The series "Chespirito: unintentionally wanting" will premiere on June 5 on the Max platform, and Pablo Cruz-Guerrero will portray Roberto Gómez Bolaños, the famous Mexican comedian. "They have made the decisions about who we form the fictional family with, and well... if there are other attempts in the future, they will always be welcome," said Cruz.

One of the fun tactics adopted by Pablo Cruz was to eat in the style of El Chavo del 8. "It's a turning point in my career, and the fact that the family, Warner Bros., and the Chespirito Group chose me... humbly, I am honored," Cruz expressed, without hesitation but with his heart on his sleeve.

The series is based on the homonymous book written by Roberto Gómez Bolaños, where he narrates his life, loves, battles, and his tireless struggle to make people laugh. Regarding the comedian's family, Pablo commented: "We have created a very close relationship."

Pablo Cruz confessed that he is not afraid of the public's reaction to the series premiere. "In that sense, I felt privileged and fortunate. I am happy that there is a wide audience eagerly awaiting this series," mentioned the actor.

In the series, in addition to Pablo Cruz, Arturo Barba plays Rubén Aguirre, Miguel Islas as Ramón Valdés, Paola Montes de Oca as La Chilindrina, Andrea Noli as La Bruja del 71, and Eugenio Bartilotti as El Señor Barriga.

The actor avoided speaking about Florinda Meza to prevent further controversies, as she could appear in the series without her authorization. Florinda Meza has warned that she will wait to see the first episode before deciding what actions to take with her lawyer, Guillermo Pous.

The production promises to offer a deeper insight into the life of Roberto Gómez Bolaños and the importance he placed on the talent of those who worked with him. "There will be many people curious to see the eight episodes. If they are, they are welcome," concluded Cruz.
