The hosts of the Chismorreo show launched one of the harshest and most humiliating criticisms on television against singer Samo, following recent internal conflicts within the group Camila.
Host Ivone Chávez held nothing back, calling the interpreter an “infantile” person with serious “emotional problems” who simply has not been able to succeed outside of the group.
Ivone Chávez Calls Samo a “Failed and Infantile” Artist and Buries His Solo Career
According to the journalist, Samo is an “irresponsible” man marked by constant failure, specifically citing the closure of his hat store and his lack of success as a soloist during the decade he was away from the band.
The humiliation escalated when Chávez stated that the singer gives himself “diva airs” and that the public rightly attacks him on social media, concluding that a person with his attitude does not deserve to be on stage.
Legal War and Shared Failure
The controversy does not end there, as it was revealed that Samo is considering suing Mario Domm for “moral damages”.
According to the reports presented, the singer is seeking financial compensation if the group decides to continue as a duo without him before his contract expires in December, an attitude that the hosts described as “infantile.”
For his part, Fabián Lavalle joined the scathing criticism, stating that failure is a shadow that pursues everyone involved.
Lavalle was blunt in stating that neither Mario Domm nor the other member (Pablo Hurtado) have been able to function commercially without Samo, ensuring that “they also didn't work without Camila.”
Although they acknowledged that Mario Domm is a talented musician and Samo's voice is marvelous, the hosts concluded that the singer's attitude is simply “unbearable.”
From 2013 to 2023, Samo's career was described as “one failure after another,” making it clear that for the members of Chismorreo, both his solo career and the band's future are mortally wounded.
