Terror Ride Turns Violent in Xochimilco

On October 31, 2024, a motorist was attacked and robbed by motorcyclists during the "Terror Ride" in Xochimilco. The offenders were part of an event celebrating Halloween, which turned into a criminal act. Video footage shows multiple assailants vandalizing the motorist's vehicle and stealing personal belongings.


Terror Ride Turns Violent in Xochimilco

On Friday, November 1, the news broke that the Terror Ride turned into a nightmare for a motorist who was assaulted and beaten by several motorcyclists in Xochimilco. The events took place on 7th Street of Xochimilco Avenue heading towards Ignacio Zaragoza Avenue, where the motorist was intercepted by the motorcyclists to commit the robbery.

On the night of Thursday, October 31, 2024, during the Terror Ride, a motorist was the victim of a robbery carried out by several motorcyclists while he was stopped at a traffic light. A viral video on social media shows at least 10 motorcyclists stopping the motorist to rob him, in addition to damaging the mirrors of his vehicle. Furthermore, three individuals can be seen getting into the car to loot the driver, while two others in yellow hoodies were hitting the motorist.

The victim of the robbery recounted that the criminals stole his belongings, took his car keys, beat him, and caused damage to the vehicle with total impunity. The Terror Ride is an activity where motorcyclists ride in a parade through Mexico City, using costumes and masks to instill fear in pedestrians. On the night of October 31, 2024, this ride took place in celebration of Halloween, but some participants took the opportunity to commit crimes against motorists.
