The Women's Wellbeing Pension, aimed at people aged 60 to 64, was launched at the beginning of President Claudia Sheinbaum's term. This program is designed for women who do not yet meet the requirements for the Wellbeing Pension for elderly individuals, which can be applied for starting at 65 years old. In this first phase, the initial beneficiaries will be women aged 63 and 64, who will receive a payment of 3,000 pesos bi-monthly directly and without intermediaries.
During this month, the women who registered are waiting to receive the Wellbeing card to start receiving the money in the coming months. To obtain the card, it is essential to pay attention to the cellphone, as a text message will be sent with the necessary information, such as date, time, and location to pick up the card at the Wellbeing Bank.
Ariadna Montiel, head of the Ministry of Wellbeing, mentioned in one of the morning conferences that during January and February, the Wellbeing cards will be distributed. Those who registered in October will receive their card in January, while those who enrolled in November will obtain it in February, in a staggered manner.
In case of not receiving the message with the data to collect the card, details can be checked on the Ministry of Wellbeing's website by entering the CURP. Additionally, a phone line at 800 639 42 64 has been set up to provide guidance. It is important to verify that data such as name, CURP, and date of birth are correct to expedite the process and ensure receiving support from the Pension for elderly women.
