The hitmen of the La Línea Cartel buried their victims in a narcocemetery to eliminate evidence. Thanks to a 'tip-off' from a member, 56 remains were located in the region of Casas Grandes, Chihuahua. In a military operation, the criminal leader Pablo M.R, alias 'El Peluchín', was arrested, who revealed the location of 38 clandestine graves spread throughout the northwest area of Chihuahua.
The territorial area under the control of the La Línea Cartel is where the bodies were found in the clandestine graves, which could correspond to their adversaries. The Attorney General's Office reported on the work of specialized personnel in processing bodies and remains found on the property known as 'El Willy', Ejido Ignacio Zaragoza, in the municipality of Casas Grandes.
The Interdisciplinary Team of the Attorney General's Office continues forensic work with a total of 56 corpses exhumed from the site. During the search, eight clandestine graves were located, where two complete corpses, one incomplete, 10 complete remains, and five incomplete remains were found.
The operation involved criminology experts, forensic anthropologists, Public Ministry agents, and members of the State Investigation Agency (AEI), with support from the National Guard and the Mexican Army in surveillance and security tasks. The human remains and evidence were transferred to the Forensic Sciences laboratories in Ciudad Juárez for anthropological medical studies to determine causes and time of death, as well as the identities of the victims.
During the search, remains, complete and incomplete bodies, fired casings, and bone fragments were located on different days of the week. The process continued with detailed records of findings and exhaustive evidence collection work to advance investigations into these crimes committed by hitmen of the La Línea Cartel.
