The government of Mexico is urging people over 60 years old to register for the Bienestar Pension before the deadline, as well as to have their documents ready to complete the process. Through social media, the government, led by President Claudia Sheinbaum, opened a new registration period for the Women's Bienestar Pension, the pension for seniors, and the pension for people with disabilities.
On this occasion, registrations will be held from February 17 to 28, according to the initial letter of the last name of the future beneficiaries. The registration schedule is distributed as follows: - A, B, C - February 17 and 24 - D, E, F, G, H - February 18 and 25 - I, J, K, L, M - February 19 and 26 - N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R - February 20 and 27 - S, T, U, V, W, X, Y - February 21 and 28 - All letters - Saturday, February 22
It is necessary to go to the modules with documents such as a valid official identification, CURP, legible birth certificate, proof of address, and contact phone number. For people with disabilities, a certificate of disability issued by a public health institution is also required.
The federal government's program provides financial assistance to women over 63 years old, seniors, and people with disabilities, with amounts varying according to the type of pension. For example, the Women's Bienestar Pension grants 3,000 pesos bimonthly to women over 63 years old. For seniors over 65 years old, the Bienestar Pension offers 6,200 pesos every two months. In the case of people with disabilities, the Bienestar Pension grants them 3,200 pesos bimonthly.
It is important to remember that this pension is provided according to the person's age, starting from 0 years in some states and reaching up to 64 years in others.
